The Toronto Raptors are a team in the National Basketball Association (NBA). They are based in Toronto. They were started in 1995. They play their home games at Scotiabank Arena. They are the only NBA team currently playing in Canada.
For the 2019 season, the Raptors won the Eastern Conference finals for the first time in the team's history.[8] Because of this, they also got the chance to play in the NBA Finals for the first time in their history.[9] They won the NBA Finals and became the first Canadian team to win an NBA Final.[10][11]
