Transvision Vamp

Transvision Vamp are a British rock band. They were formed in Putney, London in 1986 and initially split up in 1991. Its original members were Wendy James, Nick Christian Sayer, Dave Parsons, Anthony Doughty, Pol Burton, James Piper and Martin Hallett.[1]
They released three albums: Pop Art, Velveteen (which reached number 1 on the UK albums chart), and Little Magnets Versus the Bubble of Babble. They released 11 singles: their most successful, Baby I Don't Care, reached number 3 in the UK singles chart.
After a hiatus of three decades, the group returned in 2025.
