Ulsan is a metropolitan city in the southeast of South Korea. Big companies like Hyundai Heavy Industries, Hyundai Hysco, Hyundai Mipo Dockyard, Hyundai Motor Company, SK Innovation, S-Oil, etc. are in Ulsan. Motors, shipbuilding and petrochemical industries are developed here. It has the largest area among Korean metropolitan cities but has the lowest population. In Ulsan there is a Whale Festival every year to celebrate whales.
