In 2003, Givi was invited by the conductor of the stage orchestra of the Mariinsky Theater - Georgy Strautman to the performance of R. Wagner's "Lohengrin", where he performed the solo part of the royal trumpets.

In 2002 he graduated from the Lyceum and entered the St. Petersburg Conservatory, to Professor Veniamin Savelyevich Margolin. After passing a competition of 52 trumpeters from all over Russia, Givi entered the free department, taking 1st place among the contestants.[23][24][25]

In addition to playing the trumpet and piano, Givi also began taking vocal and horn lessons. Givi Sargsyan was invited by director Andrey Anatolyevich Moguchiy, s. d. Arts of Russia in the premiere of the play - "Ivans" at the Alexandrinsky Theater, as an artist-vocalist and member of the choir.
