The Abana was sailing on an Irish sea.Abana and Riverdance on Ancholme beach, cleveleys near Blackpool. The Abana was a three-masted barquue of some 1200 tons and was built at st Johns newfoundland in 1874.Many of these shipwrecks occured closed to blackpool and the Norwagain ship (Abana) was one of these.
