Frank Amodeo is an American businessman. In 2009 he was sentenced to 22 years in prison.[1] [2] He had a world conquest plan and later became a major prisoner rights advocate[2].

He argued that because he has bipolar disorder, his charges should be voided.[3] The Orlando Sentinel [en] described him as wanting to achieve world domination [en].[4] He wanted to found the "Terran Empire".[5] He was disbarred as a bankruptcy lawyer in 1994 for mishandling a client's funds.[6] He now works as a prison reform advocate, specifically focusing on helping free people who were unjustly imprisoned, he considers himself to have been such a victim.[7]

He was responsible for the release of American fraudster Matthew Cox [en] in 2019.[2]

Mirabilis Ventures Inc[change | change source]

Mirabilis Ventures Inc is an American investment firm.[8] Run by Frank Amodeo from 2005[9] until his arrest in 2007.[10] It went bankrupt in 2010.[11][12][13]

Frank Amodeo purchased the company in 2005.[9]

As of 2005 it owned over 60 companies with a revenue of over 1 billion a year.[14]

In 2006 it purchased the unfinished Trump Tower Tampa [en].[15][16][17] It had employees detained in Africa in Summer of 2006 over their involvement with the 2006 Democratic Republic of the Congo general election [en].[18]

It was one of a large network of companies run by Frank Amodeo and used to avoid payroll taxes.[19] It and its ceo were found to have evaded $200 million in taxes with the company.[20]

The firm went bankrupt in 2010 after Frank Amodeo was imprisoned.[11][12][13]

In 2019 it was judged that the CEO could not attempt to regain control.[21]
