Nyakuichiōji [ja; en:draft; simple] (若一王子) is a syncretic Shinto-Buddhist deity and part of Kumano Gongen [simple; fr]. She is identified with Amaterasu-ōmikami, and worshipped at Nyakuichiōji Shrine [simple; en:Draft; ja]

In the Kumano Sanzan [ja], the Twelve Kumano Deities are divided into three groups: Sansho Gongen, Gosho Oji, and Shisho Myojin. Nyakuichiōji holds the premier position among the Gosho Oji. Nyakuichiōji’s Buddhist Prototype (本地仏) is the Eleven-Headed Kannon [ja], who is equated with Amaterasu Ōmikami and Ninigi-no-Mikoto. This deity is enshrined in the fourth hall at both Kumano Hongu Taisha [ja] and Kumano Hayatama Taisha [ja], and in the fifth hall at Kumano Nachi Taisha [ja], all of which are currently referred to as "Wakamiya [ja]," symbolizing Amaterasu Ōmikami.

As the Kumano faith [ja] spread throughout Japan, Kumano Gongen [fr; en:draft; ja] shrines were established in various locations, often enshrining only Nyakuichiōji. Following the Meiji era separation of Shinto and Buddhism [ja], many shrines shifted their focus from "Nyakuichiōji" to Amaterasu Ōmikami or Ninigi no Mikoto, though some continue to venerate him as "Nyakuichiōji" as before.
