April 2024[change source]

Hey there, 38.92.52.229! Here are a few good ideas that you can use to help making articles in the future:

  • If the article that you made is under 1,500 characters, please add the {{stub}} template into the article near the end (below the "Other websites" section, and below any categories). This will let other editors know that it is a short article that needs to be made longer.
  • If you have no idea what categories an article that you begin should go under, please add the {{uncat}} template to the article. This will let other editors know that you need help categorizing the article properly.

Thanks for reading this long message, and happy changing here on Simple English Wikipedia! MathXplore (talk) 00:15, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the change, consider creating an account so you will not get notices that are not for you.

Please do not make unhelpful changes to Wikipedia, like you did to Thomas and Friends. The changes you made seem to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you want to try changing Wikipedia to learn more about how it works, please use the sandbox. Thank you. –Davey2010Talk 21:13, 17 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent changes, like those to Thomas and Friends, are vandalism and are not acceptable on any Wikipedia. Please stop. If you continue to vandalize, you may be blocked from changing pages on Wikipedia. –Davey2010Talk 21:13, 17 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like you are in an change war. Take care, because the three-revert rule does not let users make more than three reverts on a single page in a single day. Any user may still be blocked for being involved in a change war and disruption, even if they have not broken the three-revert rule. When you disagree with another user, you should first try to talk about changes in order to work together to improve Wikipedia and reach consensus. If you continue to disrupt the page, you may be blocked from changing Wikipedia. –Davey2010Talk 09:16, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. –Davey2010Talk 15:52, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from changing Wikipedia for vandalism.

Once the block has ended you can make helpful changes. Please read Wikipedia's blocking policy and remember that adding spam, making changes that do not have a neutral point of view, making personal attacks on others, not respecting other people's privacy, and vandalizing pages are not allowed. If you do any of these things, you will be blocked again.

If you think this block is unfair, you can ask to be unblocked by adding {{Unblock|your reason here}} below. If you cannot do this or the reason is private please send an e-mail to simple-admins-l@lists.wikimedia.org and an administrator will look at your reason and reply. You may want to read our guide to unblock requests before asking to be unblocked. MathXplore (talk) 12:29, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
