unfortunately your username is not acceptable per our username policy. If you would like to create another account that fits within the policy you are welcome to. -- Jamesofur (talk) 02:46, 23 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Actually tell me why there is a problem with my username, or just unblock me because I haven't made a single edit or anything (outside of requesting unblock) And as WP:Username says, People should be able to think things about you just based on your contributions, not on what they think about your name. You haven't let me make any contributions yet, so you would be best served letting contributions do the talking.

Decline reason:

It's a blatantly inappropriate name as it could mislead others. Further, I find it highly suspect that you know what the username policy says if you're such a new user. Declined. –Juliancolton | Talk 03:00, 23 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Clearly, the first unblock request provided me a link.--A.D.M.I.N.I.S.T.R.A.T.O.R (talk) 03:01, 23 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, but generally new users don't know what to look for in obscure policies. Sorry if I'm mistaken, though I've got a hard time assuming good faith here. –Juliancolton | Talk 03:02, 23 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You are correct of course, that comment is actually WHY usernames that are a problem are blocked instead of them edit. The problem with your username is that it makes you appear to have a position of authority on the wiki (as an administrator) and could confuse other users. This is the same reason you are not allowed to have a username that includes "bot" in it because users could think you were a bot. As I said before your username is unacceptable. Because you have not edited I am not going to unblock you to request a name change, I have however given you the right to create another account which you are more then welcome to do  :)Jamesofur (talk) 03:03, 23 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
