Hi Julian, I am sincerely happy to say that 1910 Cuba hurricane, which you nominated and worked so diligently on, has been promoted to Very Good Article status. :) Thank you and please keep up the excellent work! Warmly, —Clementina talk 05:22, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Great, thanks for letting me know. –Juliancolton | Talk 17:53, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Barnstar[change source]

The Admin's Barnstar
Good luck! Nataly8 (talk) 18:17, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure what prompted this, but thanks! –Juliancolton | Talk 18:31, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's a barnstar for the good job as admin. Nataly8 (talk) 18:32, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What is breaking, because it all works perfectly on my view. (in otherwords what does it look like when you use it) -DJSasso (talk) 18:52, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

All references using the template displayed incorrectly. The url would be shown bare. –Juliancolton | Talk 19:17, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ok thanks, that helps a little more than just saying its broken. :) -DJSasso (talk) 22:37, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Quick deletion of a few of your templates[change source]

The following templates you wrote were selected for quick deletion, because they were deprecated or replaced by newer templates and are completely unused and not linked to:

Hazard-SJ Talk 03:43, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think I needed the whole slew of warnings to be honest. –Juliancolton | Talk 03:26, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. It seems that half the templates I tagged for QD (T2) belonged to you. Hazard-SJ Talk 03:31, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Probably, but I'm still not sure why I needed so much spam when you could have simply written a brief note. I would have taken quite a bit more kindly to it. –Juliancolton | Talk 03:34, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry. I didn't remember to uncheck the box that says "Notify the initial contributor if possible". Would you like me to shorten the notes (sort of merge them into one)? If you see the notice on my talk page, I noticed that I was flooding and stopped, so I'll have to leave others for a while. I don't beleive the flood flag is for such purposes, and so, I won't request it; neither will I continue (until most of those run off). Hazard-SJ Talk 03:38, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I think that would be too little, too late, but do as you see fit... –Juliancolton | Talk 03:38, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Isn't that much better? Hazard-SJ Talk 03:44, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What is the Inactive Template for then?[change source]

If your not supposed to add the inactive template to other user's user pages, than what's it for? Battleaxe9872 22:23, 14 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nothing; it shouldn't exist. It's unfortunate that it was created int he first place. –Juliancolton | Talk 22:27, 14 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Article: Conservatives in the United States[change source]

My article, Conservatives in the United States is a very good article. It is in the simplest english possible and is as neutral as possible. If you will work on it to get it qualified to be a VERY GOOD ARTICLE that will be great. The article links to en:Conservatism in the United States but "Conservatives" sounds like simpler englisg to me. Thank you very much. --Chuck Marean (talk) 02:11, 1 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome back![change source]

I haven't seen you active for a while; welcome back! Simple English Wikipedia has missed your presence here. You don't need to remain active if you don't want to, but your being here really lights up the project! ingly, Bella tête-à-tête 05:12, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Katrina[change source]

Could you help me improve the article Hurricane Katrina? Thanks. --—SEPTActaMTA8235— (t c l) 12:43, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Broken template[change source]

The convert template is not working properly, see Lenzburg for example. I note that you made some changes to the template recently. Might you have broken it??--Peterdownunder (talk) 11:18, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Grunny has now fixed it :) --Peterdownunder (talk) 11:22, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Atlantic hurricane basin article[change source]

Hey, Julian, long time no talk. I know how much the weather "freak" (I mean that affectionately) you are so I was wondering if you could conjour up a article for the Atlantic hurricane basin kinda like en's article. If you could it would help with a solution to our problem at RfD. Thanks, man! CRRaysHead90 | We Believe! 21:37, 3 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[1] [2]. This was an FA that went through a lengthy review process. A sock puppet went in and destroyed a third of the article and removed cited information. Risker claimed that he "improved" sources by removing them and other nonsense. It is clear vandalism and Risker knows what she did was vandalize the page. We have a FAR process if there are such "sourcing" problems as she claimed. Everyone knows that my sourcing is impeccable and that the article was highly praised at FAC. There is little to see her action as anything but abusive. Ottava Rima (talk) 03:01, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Renaming information request[change source]

You have been identified as someone who does a large number of renames. If you could visit meta:Rename practices and explain your renaming practices and policy, we would appreciate the effort. We are making this request to help us better understand local renaming practices as we work towards SUL finalization. Thank you for your time and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
