Translation[change source]

Hello, thank you for contributing here. If you use the translation dashboard interface then you don't have to add attribution on the talk page (that is already done for you in the edit summary) but if you want to add it on the talk page, then you can use the {{translated page}} template like I have here. You just need to add the language code of the article you translated (in this case gl) then the article name on the wiki you translated from (in this case Ángel Carracedo) and then you need to add the version and if you look in the edit summary of the page you created, you'll notice it's linked and the number at the end of the URL is 5852776. So then you'll end up with something like {{translated page|gl|Ángel Carracedo|5852776}}

I hope this helps you, please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. --Ferien (talk) 21:55, 27 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @Ferien. I used to do it like that in Galician, for instance here: https://gl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conversa:Tratado_do_Espazo_Exterior , but I wasn't sure if I could do it like that in Simple English Wiki. Thank you! Gasparoff (talk) 22:10, 27 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

February 2022[change source]

Hello, Gasparoff! Here at Simple English Wikipedia we use the section heading "Other websites" instead of English Wikipedia's "External links", which you used in "IGAFA". This makes it simpler and easier to read. Please remember to use "Other websites" in articles that you create in the future. Thank you for your help! MathXplore (talk) 05:09, 25 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello MathXplore! Thank you very much, I'll do so next time! Gasparoff (talk) 07:49, 25 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

May 2022[change source]

We like and strongly encourage helpful changes to Wikipedia, but "Law of Ukraine "to ensure the functioning of the Ukrainian language as the State language"" was directly copied and pasted from the main English Wikipedia. Please do not do that. Such articles are usually too complex. They need to be simplified before or immediately after being added to the Simple English Wikipedia. In addition, be sure to include attribution on the article's talk page. Thank you. MathXplore (talk) 06:34, 15 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I understand what you say, but I did it the other way around: first I translated from Galician to Simple English (as I indicated in Talk page) and then I pasted the text into English with the intention of making it more complex. Thank you very much for your edit, the article is so much simple and better this way (and I'll use "Other websites" instead of "External links"). Thanks also for your patience!
