Years divisible by 100[change source]
Helloi, Hmains. I noticed that you changed the century categories on a few categories. For example, in this change, you recategorized Category:1700 from the 17th century to the 18th century. That is not correct, because the year 1700 was part of the 17th century. The 17th century includes the years from 1601 to 1700.
I know this can be confusing, for a couple of reasons.
- Most 17th-century years start with "16".
- Our category system puts Category:1700s in Category:18th century. That is done because most of the years in that decade were in the 18th century. You can see an explanatory note on the category page for centuries.

Hello! Thank you for creating Category:Events by country. However, we normally need at least three pages in a category before it is created. Because categories are a way to group together similar articles, there is no need to create a new category for just one or two articles.
