Sentence length

Re these changes: what was your thinking when you combined some of the sentences into longer sentences? Don't we consider shorter sentences to be simpler? --Auntof6 (talk) 08:54, 21 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Shorter sentences are generally easier to follow, but in this particular case I felt that it was over-simple. I don't see any problems with using one or two connectives in a sentence, and constantly having things like "this is because" and "this means" just sounds awful, in my opinion. -Mh7kJ (talk) 09:05, 21 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
