Paren and Sfnote templates

I see that you created these templates. The purpose of these templates is to insert links to help pages. However, we do not have the help pages they link to. Do you plan to create those help pages? If not, then we don't need these templates, and they should be deleted. If you are going to create the help pages, then please change the categories on the templates to use categories that we have here. Thanks. Auntof6 (talk) 19:22, 30 November 2013‎

If you decide not to translate the help pages, then I'll remove those templates from the documentations that call them. They're a mess of red links anyway and I've been meaning to clean them up for a while. Osiris (talk) 02:35, 1 December 2013 (UTC)

Then just be sure that:

• We actually need those pages (and the templates, for that matter)
• You simplify the text (the page on shortened footnotes needs more simplifying)
• You update the examples to apply to simplewiki (the links on the shortened footnotes page don't work)
• You give attribution if you copy them from elsewhere (such as enwiki). Attribution should also be given for the templates themselves and their doc pages.

I saw that you created these. However, there is no good reason to have templates that insert such short amounts of text, so I have substituted the sfnote one and deleted it. I will do the same with the other one when I get a chance. --Auntof6 (talk) 01:07, 26 December 2013 (UTC)

Please leave administration tasks to the admins
