Hello, Wyorunner, and welcome to the Simple English Wikipedia! I hope you will be happy helping here. You should begin by reading these pages: Wikipedia:Useful, Help:Contents, Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines, and how to write Simple English articles. If you want some ideas of which pages to work on, read Wikipedia:Requested articles or the list of wanted pages.

Even though it is a good idea to research an article (like looking at the discussion page) before making large changes, please be bold and try! Any changes you make that are not perfect can be fixed later. We are also working most on core articles and the most common topics until this Wikipedia grows.

If you want to ask a question or talk with other members, you can visit our version of the "village pump" at Wikipedia:Simple talk. Administrators on Wikipedia can also help you with more difficult problems. You can also ask me for help. The best way to do that is to leave a message on my talk page. You should always sign your messages on Talk pages by typing "~~~~" (four tildes) at the end of your words.

Good luck and happy editing! · Tygartl1·talk· 17:50, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, user! I suggest that you read the Manual of Style before you make any more articles. There are certain rules for formatting on Wikipedia that your articles do not follow (like bolding the article title, adding categories and links to the article in other languages). Also, be sure that the articles you are creating are not merely dictionary definitions or do not exist already with a different wording, spelling, or capitalization. Let me know if I can help. Thanks! -  BrownE34  talk  contribs  13:23, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Spinach[change source]

I see you went and ignored my above request when you created the Spinach page. By not bolding the subject, adding categories, wiki links, intewiki links, and other wikipedia formats, you create more work for other editors. If you are truly interested in helping out on this project, please take the time to learn how to make good articles. Please do not continue to create pages that are missing important formatting. Thank you. -  BrownE34  talk  contribs  16:31, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for experimenting with the page Cheese on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it is now gone. Please use the sandbox if you want to do any more tests, and see the welcome page if you want to learn about helping Simple English Wikipedia. RyanCross (talk) 11:59, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

stubs+cats[change source]

If you start a short article, please put {{stub}} underneath. And please put categories to your articles, for example by putting [[category:Insert text here]]. If you are not sure, then use {{uncat}} Thanks. The life of brian (talk) 14:00, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I would recommend, that you follow this advice as it helps making wikipedia more easy to navigate. The life of brian (talk) 14:11, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
