Vagit Yusufovich Alekperov (Azerbaijani: Vahid Yusuf oğlu Ələkbərov, Russian: Вагит Юсуфович Алекперов; born 1 September 1950) is an Azerbaijani and Russian businessman. He is the president of the leading Russian oil company LUKOIL.[2]

As of 2019 he was seen by Forbes magazine as the third richest person in Russia with a net worth of $21.1 billion and the 46th richest person in the world.[1]
