Frances Sokolov (20 June 1935 – 19 February 2016),[1] better known by her stage name Vi Subversa, was a British singer and guitarist. She was a member of the anarcho-punk band Poison Girls.[2] She was born in London, England.

Subversa died of cancer at her home in London on 19 February 2016. She was aged 80.
