Clarifications needed[change source]

  1. Each section starts off saying "Transcluded from Wikipedia:List of articles all languages should have/Expanded/People." etc. In fact, the hatnote links to the separate article in Simple. Shouldn't the hatnote say "Transcluded from en:Wikipedia:Vital articles/Expanded/People?
  2. What does the bold font for individual listings indicate? An explanation is needed. S. Rich (talk) 17:31, 25 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • No because that separate article in simple is what is transcluded. That is what is meant by transclusion, the entire separate article is added to the page you are on. And as that other separate article is edited it updates this page. You may be confusing transclusion with transwiki. The en.wiki article you mention has nothing to do with this page, this page is based on the list that is slowly being developed on meta at m:List of articles every Wikipedia should have. As for number 2 it is an indication of priority. I will add the note from meta on that for guidance. -DJSasso (talk) 18:34, 25 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
