What we really need is to apply the rules of grammar of Basic English to the 2000 words required to make up a full defining vocabulary. Who can do that?

What Simple English Wikipedia portion is contributions from natural readers and writers of Simple English? Preferable to "helping" people, those contributions better nurture growth. Has this taken off and flown yet? The structure stands; perhaps their involvement is inevitable. What further can be done structurally?
