Wow Wow Wubbzy is an American educational television show created by Bob Boyle. It aired on Nick Jr..[1]

Premise[change | change source]

The show is about a yellow gerbil named Wubbzy who likes to play with his best friends: Widget, the pink rabbit; Walden, the purple bear; and Daizy, the teal puppy. They all live in Wuzzleburg.

Characters[change | change source]

Main[change | change source]

  • Wubbzy (voiced by Grey DeLisle) is a childish friendly yellow gerbil-like creature who is the member of an uncategorizable mammalian clade. He is small, cute and obsessed with his tail, on which he can bounce like a pogo stick. His friends are Widget, Daizy, Huggy, Buggy, Earl, Walden, Chef Fritz, Old Lady Zamboni, Sparkle, Shimmer, and Shine.
  • Widget (voiced by Lara Jill Miller) is a pink rabbit-like creature who is a mechanical whiz with an incredibly heavy stereotypical Southern accent. She is a builder and engineer who builds all sorts of things.
  • Walden (voiced by Carlos Alazraqui) is a purple bear-like creature brainiac with an Australian accent. He is a purple polymath and sometime scientist. His intellectualism and love for science are a common thread in the show. He's the only main character to have male voice actors.
  • Daizy (voiced by Tara Strong) is a cheerful teal dog-like creature who is Wubbzy's neighbor and Widget, Walden and Wubbzy's best friend. As her name suggests, she loves flowers. She was introduced in Season 2.
