Elisabeth Sladen

Elisabeth Claira Heath Sladen (1 February 1946[1] – 19 April 2011) was an English actress. Born on 1 February 1946 in Liverpool, Sladen attended the Elliott-Clarke Drama school. From 1973 to 1976, Sladen played Sarah Jane Smith on Doctor Who. Sladen again played Sarah Jane on a spin-off CBBC show, The Sarah Jane Adventures.[2] She died on 19 April 2011 from cancer.[1]
