Ian Deans

Ian Deans (August 16, 1937 – 3 May 2016) was a Canadian politician. He was born in Kilmarnock, Scotland but raised in Ontario, Canada. He was a New Democratic member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1967 to 1979. He was a member of the Canadian House of Commons from 1980 to 1986.

Deans died in Hamilton, Ontario on 3 May 2016 from Parkinson's disease, aged 78.[1]
