Kelly Maria Ripa (born October 2, 1970 in Stratford, New Jersey) is an American Daytime Emmy Award winning actress and talk show host. Since February 2001, she has served as the co-host of a show now known as Live! with Kelly and Michael. From 2001 to November 2011, she hosted the show, then known as Live! with Regis and Kelly, alongside Regis Philbin, taking the show's rating to a new high when she replaced previous Live! co-host Kathie Lee Gifford. The show was then renamed Live! with Kelly before Michael Strahan became her new co-host on September 4, 2012.
Ripa is also known for her acting on All My Children and Hope & Faith, both television series on ABC.
