List of current champions in WWE

The following is a list of all current champions in WWE (legal name: World Wrestling Entertainment), as of May 25, 2013. There are five active singles championships: the WWE Championship, World Heavyweight Championship, Intercontinental Championship, United States Championship, and Divas Championship; as well as one tag team championship, the WWE Tag Team Championship. Seven wrestlers hold these championships on the company's two brands: Raw and SmackDown. The list includes the number of times the wrestler has held the title, the date and location of the win, and a description of the winning bout.

At the top of WWE's championship hierarchy, the WWE Championship is currently held by John Cena, while Dolph Ziggler is the current holder of the World Heavyweight Championship. John Cena is in his eleventh reign as WWE Champion, having defeated the former champion The Rock at the WrestleMania XXIX on April 7, 2013. Ziggler, who is in his second reign as World Heavyweight Champion, won the championship by defeating Alberto Del Rio after cashing in his Money in the Bank contract at a April 8, 2013 taping of Raw.

The two secondary titles in WWE are the WWE Intercontinental Championship and the WWE United States Championship. The current WWE Intercontinental Champion is Wade Barrett, who is in his third reign after winning the title from The Miz at a April 8, 2013 taping for Raw. Antonio Cesaro is the reigning WWE United States Champion, and is in his first reign after defeating Santino Marella during the pre-show for SummerSlam on August 19, 2012.

One championship is contested by WWE Divas. Kaitlyn holds the WWE Divas Championship, having won it for the first time after defeating Eve at the Raw 20th Anniversary Special on January 14, 2013.

Finally, Team Hell No, made up of Daniel Bryan and Kane, are the current holders of the WWE Tag Team Championship; they are in their first reign as a team after defeating the former champions R-Truth and Kofi Kingston at Night of Champions on September 16, 2012.
