The London School of Economics and Political Science (more commonly London School of Economics) is a college of the University of London. The college opened in 1895.

Today it is one of the leading Universities for Law, Economics and political sciences. Well-known people who attended the college are George Bernard Shaw, Bertrand Russell, John Richard Hicks, Friedrich August von Hayek, Mick Jagger, John Fitzgerald Kennedy and Monica Lewinsky.
