Opifex Global is a privately funded company based in Georgetown, Texas. training individuals for commercial astronaut, space tourism, and off-world mining, in preparation for commercial and private aerospace opportunities.

Opifex Global was established in June of 2018 by ex-Navy EOD Diver and participant in the United States Navy Marine Mammal Program Barton Bollfrass [2] in Georgetown, Tx. [3]
In 2018 Bollfrass established Fathom Academy, the first-ever technologically advanced indoor swift water rescue training facility.
Training[change | change source]
Opifex Global has developed a two year training program for astronaut candidates wanting to pursue construction skills needed for off-world development.
The curriculum encompasses neutral buoyancy tanks, tools, simulators, spacesuits, and practical skills necessary for managing off-world operations including: SSA dive training (underwater EVA training suit),off-world mining education and procedures (suited use of equipment in Arctic & Desert), and NEEMO Training.
