Welcome[change source]

Hello, Espresso, and welcome to the Simple English Wikipedia! I hope you will be happy helping here. You should begin by reading these pages: Wikipedia:Useful, Help:Contents, Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines, and how to write Simple English articles. If you want some ideas of which pages to work on, read Wikipedia:Requested articles or the list of wanted pages.

Even though it is a good idea to research an article (like looking at the discussion page) before making large changes, please be bold and try! Any changes you make that are not perfect can be fixed later. We are also working most on core articles and the most common topics until this Wikipedia grows.

If you want to ask a question or talk with other members, you can visit our version of the "village pump" at Wikipedia:Simple talk. Administrators on Wikipedia can also help you with more difficult problems. You can also ask me for help. The best way to do that is to leave a message on my talk page. You should always sign your messages on Talk pages by typing "~~~~" (four tildes) at the end of your words.

Good luck and happy editing! Billz (Talk) 13:39, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for all of your work on Simple English Wikipedia. It is greatly appreciated. Billz (Talk) 07:16, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Next week I have to work again.
But all I did was to create some stubs about some cities in the Netherlands and Germany hoping someone will help to grow them up to real articles. Okay, I think Bertolt Brecht is an article. Espresso

Dear Espresso...[change source]

I noticed that you do a lot on cities in France. Good job, but do you mind stating more about the cities besides their estimated population? :D-- Tdxiang 10:09, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nearly all I did last time was to make stubs of the biggest cities in several countries: Netherlands, Germany, Vietnam, now France. I hope for someone living in the region to make articles from the stubs. It was only the idea of having a complete survey of cities with more than a several number of inhabitants. May be I should start to complete articles instead of starting with new contries. Espresso 10:15, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Why, that's a very good idea! I rooting for you - just tell me if you need help, okay? Good luck! :D-- Tdxiang 10:17, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Tank you very much. My problem is, I don't have too much time. Making stubs doesn't need to much time. There are lists of the biggest cities in several countries in the English, the Dutch, the German, the Frensh etc. Wikipedia. So it's a work you can do, if you have only one or two hours. That's the reason for. If I have more time, I create articles like Bertolt Brecht (summary of German article, I needed more than 1 hour). Espresso 10:28, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Copying content from other Wikipedias[change source]

Hello Espresso, it is fine with me if you copy parts or all of the articles from other wikipedias to this one, before simpifying the content. But please be aware that we do not have all the templates that other wikipedias have. Therefore comment out the non-existant templates (or the superfluous content) with the xml comment tags. -- Eptalon 20:03, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

RfD nomination of Category:Green Party of Germany[change source]

An editor has requested deletion of Category:Green Party of Germany, an article you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2013/Category:Green Party of Germany and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. Elekhh (talk) 02:23, 13 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
