your changes to template {{Update}}

I noticed that you recently made significant changes to this template without using edit summaries to indicate the reason for them. Would you please explain what the changes were for? If they were to make the template the corresponding template on English Wikipedia, be aware that some of the templates here are different on purpose.

In any case, I see you also created a new category, Category:All Wikipedia articles in need of updating, presumably as a result of the changes to the template. This is a near duplicate of a category we already had, Category:Articles to be updated. Would you please look at the template and these categories and resolve the duplicate? RfD nomination of Category:All Wikipedia articles in need of updating

An editor has requested deletion of Category:All Wikipedia articles in need of updating, an article you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2022/Category:All Wikipedia articles in need of updating and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
