Ward Cunningham

Howard G. "Ward" Cunningham (born May 26, 1949) is an American computer programmer. He started the first wiki website on March 25, 1995, and is considered the inventor of that software.[source?] He currently lives in Beaverton, Oregon.
Ward got a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Purdue University, and then got his master's degree in computer science from there as well. Over the years he has worked for Tektronix Computer Research Laboratory, the Eclipse Foundation, and Microsoft, among other places. He is now at AboutUs, an editable guide to websites.
