André Chassaigne

André Chassaigne (born 2 July 1950) is a French politician. He was born in Clermont-Ferrand. He is a member of the French Communist Party. He has served as a member of the National Assembly since 2002. Since 2012, he has been the president of the Democratic and Republican Left group in the assembly.

On 12 March 2020, during the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic, it was made clear that Chassaigne had tested positive for COVID-19.[1]
