Anthony Anderson (born August 15, 1970)[2] is an American actor, writer, game show host and comedian. He has starred in his own sitcom All About the Andersons, as well as The Bernie Mac Show during the fifth and final season.

He is known for his leading roles in television dramas, such as K-Ville, The Shield, and Law & Order. Anderson has also had supporting roles in films, such as Transformers, The Departed, Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London, Scream 4, and Kangaroo Jack.

On July 20, 2018, it was revealed that he is being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department for a sexual assault allegation.[3]
