Barney Gumble

Barnard "Barney" Gumble is a character in the animated television series The Simpsons. He is voiced by Dan Castellaneta and appeared in the series premiere "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire". He is Homer Simpson's best friend and the town's drunk, though he stopped drinking in the episode "Days of Wine and D'oh'ses".
