Bhangra is an dance from the Punjab region of South Asia. It is the most famous dance there. It has spread to other parts of the subcontinent, and to other countries such as the U.K. Bhangra has a specific kind of music like an upbeat song.

The traditional form of Bhangra originated in the villages of Sialkot, Pakistan and is regarded as the standard.[1] The community form of traditional Bhangra has been kept in the Gurdaspur district, India, and in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India. Traditional Bhangra is performed in a circle.[2]
