Black Panties

Black Panties is the twelfth solo studio album by R&B singer R. Kelly.[1] It was going to be released on 11 November 2013, by RCA Music Group.[2][3] But some changes were made to the album. It was released on December 6 2013.[4]

Kelly said that this album is different from his previous albums Love Letter and Write Me Back.[5][6]

The first single "My Story" was released on 28 July 2013.[7][8] Genius got released a month later on Itunes and R. Kelly's Vevo page.

On December 10, 2013, the music video was released for "Cookie".[9]

The album featured guest appearances by 2 Chainz, Future, Young Jeezy, Twista, Kelly Rowland, Alicia Keys and Ludacris.[10][11] But only Ludacris, Kelly Rowland and Young Jeezy made the final cut of the album.

Music critics gave Black Panties good reviews.

Kelly said that he made 362 songs for Black Panties.[12]

Black Panties entered the Billboard 200 at number four.[13]
