Bound (movie)

Bound is a 1996 American romantic crime thriller starring Jennifer Tilly and Gina Gershon. In the film, Violet (Tilly) is the girlfriend of a mafia mob member, but she wants to leave the mafia life. She meets Corky (Gershon), and together, they enter a lesbian relationship and plan on stealing 2 million dollars from the Mafia. Bound received positive reviews from critics who praised its humor and strong style and its portrayal of lesbian relationships in a mainstream motion picture. It was rated R in the United States and Australia for sexual content and intense violence. It was released October 4, 1996 in the United States.
