Buriram
Buriram is a town located in Buriram province, Thailand. It is the capital of Buriram Province and part of the Mueang Buriram District. In 2012, the population was 27,862. [1]

It was part of the Khmer Empire.
In the early 1800s, it was called Muang Pae. Later in the 1800s, it was changed to Buriram. It became a province of Thailand in the late 19th Century.
