Call Of Duty (short form: CoD) is a first person video game series. There are 24 games in total, not counting add-ons and DLCs. The first 8 games, excluding Modern Warfare, are about World War II. The Modern Warfare series takes place in present times and was developed by Infinity Ward. Call Of Duty: Black Ops takes place in the secret missions of the Cold War and was developed by Treyarch. The majority of the games were developed by Infinity Ward and Treyarch, with studio Sledgehammer Games developing Advanced Warfare and WWII. The Call of Duty games are on the Gamecube, Xbox, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 , Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC, Nintendo Wii, Wii U, and the Nintendo DS. The games are rated Teen or Mature for blood, violence and strong language.
