Chandan Mitra

Chandan Mitra (Bengali: চন্দন মিত্র; 12 December 1955 – 2 September 2021) was an Indian journalist and editor. He was the managing director of The Pioneer newspaper in Delhi. He was a member of the Rajya Sabha during August 2003 to August 2009. He was elected to another term in the Rajya Sabha, as a Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Madhya Pradesh, in June 2010.[1]

Mitra died on 2 September 2021 in New Delhi at the age of 65.[2][3]
