Dana George Mead (February 22, 1936[1] – October 31, 2018) was an American businessman and corporate director. He was born in Cresco, Iowa. Mead was chairman emeritus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Foundation's board of trustees, where he was chairman from 2003 through 2010.
Mead died in Boston, Massachusetts on October 31, 2018 at the age of 82.[2]
