Dark Shadows is an American-British comedic horror movie. It is based on the gothic television soap opera that aired in the United States from 1966 until 1971.

It was directed by Tim Burton and produced by Richard D. Zanuck. It stars Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Helena Bonham Carter, Jackie Earle Haley, Eva Green, and Christopher Lee. Jonathan Frid had a cameo role. It was composed by Danny Elfman. It was released on May 11, 2012.
