He has also been the [[Member of Parliament (United Kingdom)|Member of Parliament]] (MP) for Moray since [[2017 United Kingdom general election|2017]]. Moray is in the north-east of Scotland, with a coastline on the [[Moray Firth]], and is next to the areas of [[Aberdeenshire]] and the [[Scottish Highlands|Scottish Highland]]. Aswell as being a MP, Ross is also a [[Member of the Scottish Parliament]] (MSP) for the [[Highlands and Islands]] since 2021. He was previously MSP for the region from 2016 to 2017.
