East North Central States

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Divisions of the Midwest by the U.S. Census Bureau into East North Central and West North Central, separated largely by the Mississippi River.

The East North Central States are a region that consists of five US States: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin, according to the United States Census Bureau.[1] Almost fifty million people live in this region. Some non-government groups may put the State of Kentucky within this group, although the Census Bureau usually has Kentucky in the East South Central region.
