Ellen Grace Philpotts-Page[1] (born February 21, 1987),[2][3], who goes by Ellen Page, is a Canadian actress. She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in Juno,[4] in which she played a pregnant teenager. She has also starred in movies including Hard Candy, Whip It, and Inception.

Page is from Halifax, Nova Scotia.[5]

She was nominated for the Orange Rising Star Award in 2008.

On February 14, 2014, Page came out as gay.[6]
