"Fire" is a 1978 song written by Bruce Springsteen and became a hit for The Pointer Sisters. It was taken from their fifth studio album Energy. It went to number 2 in the United States, number 3 in Canada and number 1 in New Zealand, the Netherlands, South Africa and Belgium.
Springsteen later released his version. It was taken from his live album Live 1975–85. It was released as a single in January 1987.
