Notes[change | change source]

  1. Quirino's spouse, Alicia Quirino, was massacred along with the rest of the family during the Japanese occupation of the Philippines in World War II before he became President. Their daughter, Victoria, is considered de facto First Lady.
  2. Aquino's spouse, Benigno Aquino Jr., was assassinated before she became President.
  3. Aquino III was never married so Kris Aquino, his sister, assumed the role as the de facto first lady.
  4. Duterte and Avanceña are civil partners and she was never made first lady although she carried the roles of one
