Friedrich Christian Delius (13 February 1943 – 30 May 2022), also known as F.C. Delius,[1][2] was a German writer.[3] He published more than a dozen novels and a number of poetry collections. His work has been translated into more then 20 languages.[2] He won numerous German literary prizes including the Joseph Breitbach Prize,[4] the Georg Büchner Prize,[5] and the Critics Prize.

Delius died on 30 May 2022 in Berlin, Germany at the age of 79.[1]
