Gift card

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A gift card is a voucher purchased from a store or supermarket. It can be used for online credits on online platforms. It uses a code that has letters and numbers. The most common gift cards are Amazon gift cards, Walmart gift cards, and Roblox gift cards.[1]

Gift cards have ways to share credit or debit card details when buying things online. People who do this should know about scams. Some scams are phishing.

Gift cards provide a secure alternative to sharing credit or debit card details when making online purchases. However, users should be aware of potential scams, such as phishing emails, data stealing, bank details collection in the name of gift cards, asking for payments, and so on.[2]
