Júlio Chaves

Júlio Chaves (28 December 1944 – 10 August 2021) was a Brazilian voice actor. He was known for voice dubbing many actors in Portuguese such as Rowan Atkinson, Andy Garcia, Mel Gibson, Dustin Hoffman, Jeremy Irons, and Tommy Lee Jones.[1] He was the Brazilian voice of Marlin in the Pixar movies Finding Nemo (2003) and its sequel, Finding Dory (2016).

Chaves died from COVID-19 in Rio de Janeiro on 10 August 2021, at the age of 76.[2]
