James Howard "Jim" Weaver (August 8, 1927 – October 6, 2020) was an American politician and environmentalist. He served as the Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives from Oregon serving from January 3, 1975 through January 3, 1987.

Weaver was born in Brookings, South Dakota. He enlisted in the United States Navy at the age of seventeen and served in World War II on an aircraft carrier in the Pacific.[1] Weaver moved to Oregon from Iowa, in 1947 to attend the University of Oregon.

Weaver died on October 6, 2020 in Eugene, Oregon at the age of 93.[2]
