Jiří Tlustý (born March 16, 1988) is a Czech former professional ice hockey left winger. He played 9 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL). He played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Carolina Hurricanes, Winnipeg Jets, and New Jersey Devils.

Before playing in the NHL, Tlustý played 1 season with HC Kladno of the Czech Extraliga and 1 season with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). He was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs with the 13th overall pick in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. He played 3 seasons with the Maple Leafs.

The Maple Leafs traded Tlustý to the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for Philippe Paradis.[1]

During his time with the Hurricanes, Tlustý would set a career high in both goals and points.

On 25 February 2015,he would be traded to the Winnipeg Jets in exchange for a conditional sixth round pick in the 2015 draft and a third round pick in the 2016 draft.[2] He would play 24 games with the Jets.

On 16 September 2015, he would sign a one-year, $800,000 contract with the New Jersey Devils.[3]

On 31 October 2016, Tlustý would sign with Oulun Kärpät of Liiga.[4] He would play 14 games with them before being released.
